Support Groups are an excellent way to share and explore your strengths, conflicts, aspirations, feelings, fears and experiences with others facing similar challenges and experiences.

Women's Empowerment (WE) Support Groups
Improve your relationship with yourself and others. Learn how to rebuild your life after ending a significant relationship. Develop skills to increase self-esteem, discover new strengths, and develop interpersonal relationships in a supportive group setting.

WE Girls Teen Support Groups
This group will provide a supportive, safe, non-judgmental and empowering group environment, designed to help teens identify their feelings, develop a positive belief system about themselves in relation to others, and enhance their capacity to act on those beliefs by making healthier decisions about their bodies and relationships. Next series starting in February, 2010.
WE Heal Support Groups for Parents of Children who have been Affected by Sexual Abuse
Build your support network by meeting with other parents of children who have been affected by sexual abuse. Explore the impact of traumatic experiences and begin the healing process. Strengthen attachment and the ability to talk about feelings in order to improve parenting and family communication skills. Utilize a supportive group setting to build on your personal strengths, and gain tools to help you cope effectively with trauma. Next series starting in February, 2010.
WE Heal Eating Issues Support Group
This support group provides a safe environment for adults with eating issues to share their experiences of emotional eating. Explore common triggers and acquire positive coping tools. Improve self-esteem and body-image, and increase self-awareness of eating patterns, triggers and behaviors. Next series starting in February, 2010.

Mejore su relación con si misma y con sus seres queridos. Aprenda a reconstruir su vida, fortalecer su autoestima, descubrir nuevas habilidades, y desarrollar relaciones interpersonales en un grupo de ambiente compasivo.
These workshops are designed to offer important information to all parents who strive to overcome today's challenges in raising healthy children. Workshops are offered through local elementary schools on topics such as "Identifying and Managing Attention Deficit Disorders"; "Parenting Strengths, Conflicts & Coping Strategies"; and "Promoting Secure Parent-Child Attachments."
Support Groups are also offered through our school and shelter-based programs.
